There was interest from several of you at last night’s meeting. I will find out further details of the event and let you all know.
I am writing from the Transport Museum in St Helens. The Museum holds an extensive collection of vehicles and other artefacts related to road transport and during the summer we host a series of special events for transport enthusiasts. We are planning an event devoted to BRITISH SPORTS CARS to be held on SUNDAY 7th AUGUST and I wondered if any of your members - particularly those based in the North-West - would like to display their TVR models on this occasion.
I was at the Fire Engine and Vintage Vehicle show at Preston Park (Middlesbrough) last weekend and I met your Tees Valley member Ken Dagg, he suggested that I ask you for the contact details of the secretary for this area, and if you are able to do this I would contact them direct. As you will know, St Helens lies between Liverpool and Manchester so would be easily accessible to car owners in Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and southern Lancashire. I look forward to hearing from you.
It would be great if we could get a timeline of TVRs for the event. (Well as best as we can manage)
Cheers - Steve
